Tips, Events and News from Peony

Christmas is fast approaching and with it the annual hunt for the perfect gifts for friends and loved ones. Whilst some people might be easy to buy for, there will always be one person who you struggle with. To help take some of the stress away from present buying this festive season, we have put together our ultimate Christmas gift guide.

Traditionally, many of us have only really decorated our homes for the festive season. However, in recent years it has become popular to match our interior accessories with the changing seasons. Whether that is following the usual seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter.

September is often seen as a time of new beginnings. From the start of a new school or university year to the new season, there is much to look forward to. You might also be thinking about new adventures or even just an autumn refresh of your interior.

For many of us, adding a real or artificial wreath to our front doors is an essential part of the Christmas decorating tradition. Recently lots of people have embraced the trend for adding an artificial wreath to their front doors all year round. Decorating your front door is an easy, yet beautiful way to create a warm welcome to guests visiting your home.

When you purchase beautiful artificial flower arrangements or bouquets from Peony Faux Flowers, you are purchasing more than just one design. Your display of artificial stems contains an almost infinite number of combinations for you to arrange and rearrange. Whether you're new to creating artificial flower arrangements, or just need some tips or ideas, we are here to help.

Congratulations to you if you have recently got engaged and have started planning your perfect wedding day! Organising a wedding can be one of the most exciting, yet also one of the most stressful (and expensive) things that we will do in our lives.

May is such a wonderful time of year in the garden as so many beautiful flowers seem to be bursting into life on an almost daily basis. As the last of the tulips and other spring bulbs fade for another year, our amazing peonies, wisteria and roses start to make their appearance.

This month, to coincide with the upcoming Coronation of HRH King Charles III, we would like to celebrate all things British here at Peony Faux Flowers. At this time of year, it seems as if every day brings with it a new flower to enjoy both in the garden and in our homes.

Our new collection of artificial spring flowers have arrived. Spring is often considered as the season of new beginnings and renewals. With many plants, animals (and even humans) heading into hibernation during the winter months, it is so exciting to see everything come back into life for spring.

Our interiors can look a little bare in January once the Christmas faux has been carefully taken down and packed away in storage boxes. Depending on my mood, I might choose to replace the decorations with seasonal flowers such as hellebores, or choose something a little bolder like the vibrant birds of paradise.

Christmas is one of our favourite times of the year here at Peony Faux Flowers. We love decorating our home with seasonal faux flowers and foliage. The festive season is also a wonderful time for entertaining family and friends.

Unless you are naturally creative or have received floristry training, arranging flowers in a vase can be a daunting task for many. One of the questions myself and the Peony team are often asked is: how do we style our Peony flowers to look as good as they do on your website and in your shop? I
